This position is for a credited Kitchen and Bath Designer with 3+ years experience. This applicant has strong technical abilities and a passion for kitchen and bath design. As a K&B focused firm, we are seeking someone with mad math skills and the ability to tackle the many roles of a busy design firm.

 

This is a showroom position with flexible work arrangements while continually

striving for high standards in our services and products. Even when we’re juggling many projects and an ever-growing workload, we have fun.

KITCHEN & BATH DESIGNER

​

Location: Nelson, BC

​

Spruced Kitchens is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our fun and close-knit all woman team. This role is perfect for a creative professional who thrives on bringing design visions to life while balancing technical accuracy, project management, and client collaboration.

​

The Kitchen & Bath Designer Tasks:

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to create functional and beautiful cabinet and space designs.

  • Guide clients through material, finish, fixture, and hardware selections in our showroom.

  • Prepare detailed drawings and project documentation to support smooth installations.

  • Work alongside contractors, suppliers, and our in-house team to keep projects on track.

  • Revise designs based on client feedback and ensure feasibility with production and installation teams.

  • Maintain organized project files, checklists, and timelines across multiple projects.

​

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in 20/20 Design Flex software (AutoCAD and/or other design software an asset)

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath products, finishes, and industry trends.

  • Strong sense of style, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changes, and maintain a high attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of products, materials, and building codes is an asset

  • Experience in kitchen, bath, or cabinetry design, with knowledge of millwork and construction methods.
